Overview

As part of my continuous effort to develop entrepreneurial skills, I participated in the BNP Paribas Fortis Start Academy competition. This program taught me how to start and grow a business from scratch, including business strategy, development, and pitching to investors. The competition provided valuable insights into creating a successful startup and pitching innovative ideas to industry leaders.

Key Projects

I developed two business ideas during this competition, both focused on leveraging AI technology for improving sustainability and fitness.

1. Insight4Impact
   • Concept: Insight4Impact is an AI-powered software solution designed to measure and improve the sustainability of businesses. It provides automatic assessments of a company’s sustainability efforts by analyzing key metrics and offering actionable AI-driven tips for improvements.
   • Business Model: The software helps businesses earn revenue by making them more efficient and sustainable, turning environmental responsibility into profitability.
   • Features:
     • Sustainability assessments through AI-driven analysis.
     • Tailored suggestions for improving environmental impact.
     • Financial benefits from sustainable business practices.
2. Assist2Fit
   • Concept: Assist2Fit is an AI-based fitness software that tracks gym users’ movements during exercises, ensuring proper form and technique. The software helps users improve their performance by providing real-time feedback, making sure they enhance their workouts each time they return to the gym.
   • Business Model: Targeting gyms and fitness enthusiasts, the software can be integrated into gym equipment or as a mobile app, helping users achieve better results with improved form, leading to better long-term fitness outcomes.
   • Features:
     • Real-time AI tracking of user movements during exercises.
     • Personalized feedback for improving form and preventing injuries.
     • Long-term tracking to monitor progress and suggest adjustments.

Skills and Experience Gained

• Entrepreneurship: Gained in-depth knowledge of starting and developing a business, from idea generation to market analysis and business planning.
• Pitching to Investors: Learned how to effectively pitch innovative ideas to investors, crafting compelling business presentations.
