SDG Life: Educational Board Game for Sustainable Development Goals
Project Overview
SDG Life is an educational board game I developed to raise awareness about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) among children aged 7-12. The game, inspired by the concept of “The Game of Life,” was created to teach young generations about global sustainability challenges in a fun and engaging way. This project was part of an initiative to educate children on how they can positively impact the world and contribute to sustainable development.
Project Details
The game focuses on making the 17 SDGs accessible and understandable for kids. Through interactive gameplay, children learn about various global issues, such as poverty, climate change, and clean energy, while also being encouraged to think about how they can make a difference in their daily lives. The game is both educational and entertaining, allowing children to learn about important topics while enjoying the experience.
Repository and Documentation
The official GitHub repository for SDG Life contains the source code for the game, as well as detailed documentation outlining the Business Model Canvas (BMC) and Value Proposition Chain that were developed as part of the business behind the project. This open-source project encourages contributions and improvements from the community.
Contributing
Contributions to SDG Life are welcome, whether it’s improving the code, adding new features, or reporting issues. Guidelines for contributing and an issue tracker can be found in the repository, helping to facilitate collaboration and continued development of the game.
